Queen, the Royal Cat

Among all the cats in our clowder, there’s one who stands out for her grace, poise, and… a healthy dose of stubbornness: Queen, so named for her regal manners and unmistakable air of nobility.

Queen won’t settle for just any bowl on the ground. No—she demands her meals be served on an elevated surface, away from the hustle and bustle, where she can eat in peace, as any true sovereign would. And trust us, she rarely compromises on her preferences. 🐈‍⬛🫶🏻

She doesn’t go looking for fights: she’s not confrontational, but when it’s time to make her presence known, she has no problem raising her voice. Life on the streets has taught her that sometimes you need to assert yourself, and Queen does it with the dignity of a ruler who may have lost her castle, but never her crown.

We all strongly suspect that Queen was once a house cat. Her ease around humans, her graceful movements, and that quiet trust she exudes tell the story of a different life—one behind four walls. However, despite this familiarity, she prefers her distance. She doesn’t seek out physical affection, but she does accept our presence with elegant tolerance. 😻💕

Queen is a calm and steady presence in our garden. You’ll often find her resting under a bush or sunbathing with royal composure. She knows exactly when mealtime is, and she never misses it. But now and then, she “just happens to wander by” outside of schedule—perhaps hoping for a little something extra.

That’s Queen: patient, composed, smart, and irresistibly charming. A real queen, with a wild heart and a gaze that always knows what it wants. 🐱🐾💖
