Every clowder has its strong nature, its unofficial leader, and for us, that figure has a name: Selvi, the Wild Cat. Her nickname might make you think she’s a stern and impenetrable kitty, but those who know her well understand that Selvi has a big heart… even though it’s well hidden behind her “General” personality!🐈❤️
Selvi is an extraordinarily intelligent cat. She not only knows well the volunteers who take care of her and the clowder every day, but she also recognizes their cars! As soon as she spots one in the distance, there she is, appearing like lightning, running to meet our hero of the day with a series of meows that seems to say: “You’re late! Where have you been?!”
Her behavior is an irresistible mix of sweetness and reproach. She follows the volunteers step by step, like a little commander overseeing operations, until the food reaches the bowls. Only then, satisfied, she stops protesting and enjoys her well-deserved meal, of course, under her watchful control.
But Selvi is also a shy and reserved soul. Although she’s very fond of her beloved humans, she never lets anyone touch her. It’s her way of maintaining that wild and independent aura that makes her so special. Yet, her presence is a true comfort to all of us: with her big, attentive eyes and her lovingly “grumpy” behavior, Selvi has earned a special place in the hearts of everyone who meets her.
Selvi is the living proof that even the wildest souls can be deeply bonded to those who care for them. No need for petting or cuddles to feel close: just her welcoming meow or the way she walks beside you is enough to know that, in her own way, Selvi cares for you.
